Hi Guys,
I would just like to take this opportunity to tell you about my experience with BTA Motorsport.

"After purchasing my long awaited XR6 Turbo it was time to get the beast modded. I called every Capa registered tuner in Sydney and asked them random questions about the process. Ali was always up front and honest about costs and service. At first I was hesitant to go with BTA as they were not the cheapest and not the closest, then I got stuck. I installed my Monza Cooler and Under Battery Pipe, and the car was going into overboost.

I again called around and asked the tuners what it could be and how they can fit me into their busy schedules. Also because I didn’t have a 2nd car it was going to be difficult to drop off and pick up the car.

Ali was quick to respond telling me I could bring the car in on Thursday (It was Monday when I called), he also said he can provide a courtesy car… this was perfect for me because I didn’t want to drive around risking the engine and he provided a courtesy car.

The car went in for a custom tune and injectors, as soon as Ali ran it on the dyno he said there was an under lying problem with either the exhaust or turbo and said that the valve spring were very weak. I knew this because even when I was running generics, I was getting valve float. Injectors and Valve springs were installed, then to the problem, after dissecting the turbo he found that the actuator was playing up which was leading to inconsistent boost levels. He replaced the actuator free as he had one on a turbo that was lying around.

Ali spent quite a bit of time tuning my car and he only gave it to me when he was happy with results. He achieved a modest 276rwks with very few mods, it was also a safe tune. Boost comes in later to ease pressure on bottom end and reduce tyre wear, gear changes are stiff to give the box longevity and driving was absolute pleasure.

Ali possesses a passion that very few people have, he is truly dedicated to providing great customer service. Any time I have a question or I want some tweaking done to suit my personal preference Ali is only to happy to help me.

I don’t recommend people easily but I recommend BTA. If you are looking for a tuner who is honest and dedicated to improving your pride and joy, Ali is the man."

I was on your website and thought I would give some feedback about your service.

"I recently had my VT2 SS Commodore come in for a power upgrade. The car is running great, results were as described, price was very competitive, service was excellent. The most impressive part of my experience is how you looked over the car and corrected a few other problems the car had. I take pride in my car and you guys take pride in your work and your customers cars. That is how things should be done. I now have a new car and will be booking it in soon for the same treatment. Well done. Highly recommended."

"I took my Commodore into BTA. I have to tell you I was more than impressed.

It is running smoother, starts easier and has lots of extra power. Everyone that buys a new car should have a custom tune and cold air intake fitted."

"I have owned my WRX for 2 years, and as many people would understand it's too easy to get caught up in performance tuning. Before BTA, I had visited another performance based workshop whom claim to be the "Subaru specialists," and I could not have been more disappointed with the poor quality of work and ridiculous price attached to it. I had spent a lot of time and money with them, only to have my engine fail.

After my first visit to BTA Motorsports I can only say WOW. Finally, I have found a workshop based on honesty and quality. There is a real sense of family pride in the environment, and it is very easy for you to trust the Team with your car.

Unlike many other Service and Performance based "Specialists" who purposely make you wait so it seems like they are busy, stepping into the BTA workshop was like visiting my next door neighbour… Someone always makes the effort to say "Hi", and I am always made to feel welcome, special mention to Al's Dad.

Al took the time to properly examine the engine damage and he made me feel as though he was committed to giving me professional advice and the assurance I needed to make a sound decision. He did not pressure me with bogus and costly recommendations (as others continuously do), it was just a straight forward "Michael, let's see what you want and if it makes you happy, I'll make it happen."

My engine was re-assembled on time and stronger than ever, with no mucking around.

The BTA workshop is proudly open plan, which means there are no hidden secrets, and I felt very comfortable with the idea of being able to see the mechanics at work. I was able to visit the workshop regularly and Al always made time to explain to me where we were at and what was the next step going forward. No matter how uneducated my questions were, Al never spoke over my head and he ALWAYS made an effort to explain things clearly.

I have since visited the workshop a number of times, and I can't thank the people enough for making me feel like part of the "BTA Family."

I am very proud to wear the BTA Motorsports' label on the car windscreen, and I can confidently say that I am dedicated to being a life time customer of BTA Motorsports.
