There is no need to remove a vehicle's ECU (engine control unit); OptiCan tuning is performed via OBD access through the factory port. The ECU Operating System is read and re-written for optimised performance and fuel economy. The process is efficient, simple and secure. Factory ECU Operating Systems are easily re-written back into the vehicle as required. OptiCan is cost efficient for the vehicle owner while offering the workshop user good profitability.
